{"id":88,"date":"2014-05-07T00:01:57","date_gmt":"2014-05-07T04:01:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chemreview.net\/blog\/?p=88"},"modified":"2026-03-17T18:58:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T22:58:11","slug":"5-discussion-of-our-flipping-paper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chemreview.net\/blog\/?p=88","title":{"rendered":"5 &#8211; Discussion of Our Flipping Paper"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During May 2014, the ACS DivChEd Committee on Computers in Chemical Education (CCCE) is hosting an online conference (a \u201cConfChem\u201d) on <em>flipping<\/em> chemistry:\u00a0 the moving a part of traditional lecture content to student study time, to allow more time in class for demonstrations, discussions, and problem solving.<\/p>\n<p>In the ConfChem format, authors submit papers and for a one week period, readers submit questions online which the authors answer (other readers may contribute as well).
